The last player to bet is referred to as the current bet. He is then obligated to match the bet of the previous bettor. Before he can do this, he must place in the chips required to call the previous bet.
The dealer must then offer a shuffled pack of cards to the opponent for cut. The opponent may choose to accept the cut or decline it.
