Another way to decipher a good hand is to watch the other players. When they look up and glance at their chips, it’s a good sign that they have a strong hand.

The highest-ranking hand is a royal flush, which is made up of a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace in the same suit. This is the most powerful hand in standard poker, and can only be beaten by a straight flush of a different suit.
